3rd Annual Indigenous Film Series

List of Films and facilitators for 3rd Annual Indigenous Film Series – Oct. 2, 9, 16 and 23rd —These are all SUNDAYS!

All films at Entertainer Theater, 410 Main St., Ronan, MT — Films at 1 p.m.

FREE ADMISSION.   Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Oct. 2 – Powwow Highway – a funny and heartwarming story about being there for each other–leader for Q&A – Brooke Swaney, Film-maker/Instructor @ UofM

Oct. 9 – On the Ice – Innuit boys experience a test of friendship and honor in a remote Alaskan village.

Oct. 16 – The Seventh Fire – A Native gang leader confronts the violence he’s brought to his people– leader for Q&A – CSKT Tribal Defender’s Office

Oct. 23 – SPECIAL EVENTCommunity Art Project with Steven Paul Judd

10:30 am until noon – Two Eagle River School lunchroom

Oct. 23 – 3 Short documentaries:

Crossing Boundaries (The story of Sophie Morigeau) – leader for Q&A – MaryRose Morigeau

Apache Chronicle – female Apache skateboarders – modern-day warriors.

Search for the World’s Best Indian Taco – guest appearance by the film-maker
